- I was planning on having a semi-relaxed and early night but I ended up staying out much later than planned, but it was still really fun.
- Also it was snowing but it was warm (???) which was cool.
- I’m volunteering in the nutrition department of the local cooperative extension this afternoon somewhere downtown and I have to use the buses to get there and I have NO IDEA how to find the place. Yay.
- Also I really need coffee but the cafe doesn’t open until 10 noooooo!
- Today is a rest day and rest I shall.
- I’m going to a formal at a really nice frat house tonight and I have no clue what to wear.
Workout funsies of the day. The Zumba I logged was a fitness class called “latin heat” which was basically an hour of me trying to dance and just not accomplishing any of the moves. Whatev.
Today’s workout. Warmed up with a run, then did another tabata workout! Lets just say that throwing tricep extensions in there is not fun. At all. Okay so it was kind of fun. Then I did a HIIT-ish run for 10 minutes and then a slow 10 minutes on the bike because my legs are feeling a little sore, and I feel like that helps them relax.
Now I’m back in the dorm hanging out before grabbing dinner with my friends! I’m not sure what my POA is for the rest of the night. I my go to yoga, but I may go out :P
Tomorrow is my last day of classes, so I’m starting to think about my upcoming assignments/ exams (I have 1 more essay, 1 more prelim + 3 more finals in the next two weeks). I can’t even begin to wrap my head around the finals, though. It’s SO MUCH information, jeez.
Anyway I’ve been on top of my work, which is good. Now the only “work” I have, really, is to start studying.
I planned on studying for chem first because its the only one I have next week (the others are the week after), but the only way to do is is through practice problems. Guess who went to the library, got all situated, and realized she had no more looseleaf paper? Lol me. So now I’m sitting here in a perfect study spot on tumblr, oops. Oh well. I have my last bio class in an hour, anyway, so I’ll do some work after that.
Actually I lied. First I’m going to the gym for another tabata routine. I’m planning on trying it with incline DB bench, bent-over DB rows, bicep curls, and overhead tricep extensions. Eep, wish me luck! If anyone has recommendations for heavy the dumbbells I use should be, let me know. it’s hard to tell how much I should attempt since its so many reps with such little recovery time.
Okay so serious lack of girl knowledge here, but where does hair go when wearing a voluminous scarf and hat/ headband? I was struggling with this earlier. The headband like, pushes it down, but then it sprouts up in the back from the scarf. So I just had two masses/ chunks of hair positioned on either side of my face. It felt weird. My only other thought would be to tie it up in a top-knot type bun but… No. I feel like ill face this dilemma a lot these winter months :| teach me.
9th time going to the dining hall in 3 days
My meal plan starts over on thursdays, so I had 10 swipes to use between sunday night (when I got home from break) and wednesday night. Also, I’m reaching the end of the “big red bucks” (basically dining dollars) that come on my meal plan to use at cafes, so I’m trying to use them up to save money so I don’t run out. I’ve been going three times per day for the past three days.
Needless to say, I’m getting pretty sick of dining hall food. Although tonight is supposed to be a “special cultural event dinner”… we shall see what that means shortly. I miss my dorm oatmeal and cafe lunches, though ;)
